I am the research group leader of the CZS Junior Research Group for Robot Swarm Learning at the University of Konstanz and a ZENiT fellow at the Zukunftskolleg Konstanz.
My research interest include swarm robotics, automatic modular design, reinforcement learning for multi-robot systems and imitation learning.
Our paper "Do We Run Large-scale Multi-robot Systems on the Edge? More Evidence for Two-phase Performance in System Size Scaling" won the best paper award in the category multi-robot systems at the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA 2024).
I have obtained a Nexus grant from the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung for my project "Explainable Swarm Programming through Imitation Learning". With this grant, I will be able to start as a research group leader at the University of Konstanz.
I have been selected as a ZENiT fellow in the first cohort of the ZENiT program at the Zukunftskolleg Konstanz.
